There are some things I know to be fact. I'm not a morning person. I eat an iced sugar cookie every evening to guarantee my day ends sweetly. I like expensive sheets and feather pillows, yet I'm most comfortable in jeans and flip flops. I'm feisty, compassionate, and a stubborn perfectionist. My head is full of inspiration, with more creative ideas than I could ever accomplish in this lifetime. My husband is my world and he makes me a better person, cliché and all. I adore every square inch of my daughter and beg God daily to keep her little.
In my opinion, it is rare that a moment is not worth photographing. Even the most mundane of moments tells a story ... each one being significant and fleeting. I aim to capture the true candid character of the subjects I photograph. My style is typically journalistic and documentary with very simple composition. My goal in every session is to capture who you are and the relationships among your family, using that to tell your story.
I reside in the western Chicago suburbs with my husband, our sweet daughter, AB the Baby, our furry four-legged kids, Roxy and Bentley, and our happily swimming betta fish, "Ish" the fish. My life revolves around my family and friends - meet them here. You will see quite a few of them on the pages of this site. The images I have taken of them have inspired this passion I continue to pursue.
